Jeri and I drove up to the high desert last Thursday to see our granddaughter McKayla graduate from the 8th grade at Sitting Bull Academy in Apple Valley.. She'll be entering high school later this year. McKayla is an amazing kid (all my grandkids are amazing). She has a definitive goal. She wants to be a writer. Her goal is to be a published author.
