Happy Father's Day to my father Andrew De La O. In his life, he was a hard working man, humble and generous. He stood his ground when needed, never blamed anyone or anything during the hard times. As he put it, "That's life!"
All these years later I still consider him my greatest teacher. Some things I learned by listening, at other times I learned by not listening and wishing I had. On some days I learned just by watching.
He was an imperfect man, as we all are but he was a good man.
Happy Father's Day Dad. I love you and still miss you. So do your grandkids.
