A New Season Begins

A new season begins with new avocados making a showing this past month, at least with the two Haas avocado trees. The Fuerte tree has not yet been a good producer and has yet to produce any avocados this season.

The Fuerte was the runt of the group, in fact, it still is but my gut instinct tells me it will outgrow the other two trees in time.

I nurture them. I put my hands on them and I'm hoping they can feel it. They are strong and healthy and they produce good tasting avocados.

The avocados will probably be ready for harvest late December to mid January.  It's going to be a long wait!
