From the back of the postcard: This old church, built in 1706, is the most important historical landmark in Albuquerque today. building on left houses Sister Blandina Convent and on the right, the old Spanish garrison Building recently remodeled, is now used by the Jesuit Priests as their home. There is a signed and dated inked signature on the back: Dortha Stockton, April 1959

On a personal note, this curch is an important part of our family's genealogy and history. My father Andrew De La O was baptized here in 1924.
