It has been a while since I have posted music of any kind. Stairway to Heaven was released in November of 1971 on the Led Zeppelin IV album. I still have that album somewhere in a box. I saw them in concert the following year during their 1972 tour, on June 27, at the Long Beach Arena. While all their songs were great. "Stairway" was the highlight of the night. To this date it remains the greatest act I have seen live. Stairway to Heaven remains at the top of my all time favorite song list. It is also memorable to me because it represents a time of my life that I shared with my friends many years ago that has come and gone. Good times!
