When I think of my father from my early childhood, this is how I see him; with a white shirt, black slacks and tie. Often, with his guitar singing away.
These two photos epitomize my father from that era.
Back in the day, when they were young my parents threw a lot of parties. They made their own music. Most of my uncles and aunts could play the guitar and sing. Those were good days for my parents. That's my uncle Larry in the photo with my father. He was the oldest of the De La O brothers.
Looking at these two photos makes me realize just how much I miss him!
