Jeri and I had a late lunch/early dinner at the Grinder Haven in Ontario, California. This is my favorite pastrami joint hands down. It's served Hoagie style on a semi crusty roll.
They have been at the same location on Holt since 1958. Jeri has been eating here since she was a young girl. It's still her favorite pastrami sandwich.
When they started way back when it was strictly pastrami but they've updated their menu to include, burgers, pizza, lasagna and a few other sandwiches. So I guess you can say it evolved into a pastrami, pizza, Italian, burger joint.
