Dale Carnegie's Scrapbook

I have been reading "Dale Carnegie's Scrapbook" by Dorothy Carnegie. Dorothy Carnegie is the wife of the late Dale Carnegie.  The book is somewhat of a homage to her husband's writing. It is a collection of his inspirational quotes and also, the quotes of those who inspired him.

I bought the book at the Friends of the Whittier Library Bookstore here in Whittier. I mention this because you will never find a better bargain, as far as books are concerned. If you live in the area or are visiting Southern California,, it would be worth your while to stop by and have a look.

While reading through the aforementioned book I ran across this deeply profound quote. If you have ever struggled with something (or many things) from the past, then perhaps you can relate. Some things are hard to let go of.

"All the King's horses and all the King's men ca't put the past together again. So let's remember: Don't try to saw sawdust." - Dale Carnegie
If that ain't the truth there is no truth!

Find a good book today and read it!!
