I Can't Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand by Jamie Wilson

It's funny, or maybe not so funny, how you can hear a song for the first time and it just seems like you have been listening to it your entire life. It just seems like an old friend.

This song has been around a while but I first heard the song last month, on the 26th, the day after Christmas. A friend of mine, Rodger Carter, recorded himself singing this song. His cover is my favorite version of the song. He spoke a little before he sang and his words and the song resonated deeply with me and brought me to tears. That was God speaking to me through Rodger. I'll echo Rodger's words and say that this song could have been written about me.

My daughter Savannah is learning this song now and maybe someday I'll post a video of her. Til then here is the talented Jamie Wilson. She gives new life to this fine old song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
