More things I keep...
My mother passed this old vintage Juice O-Mat to me sometime around 1978. I don't know if it was something that she and my father bought or if it was a gift. What I do know is it has been around as far back as I can remember. I have very clear memories of my mother making fresh squeezed orange juice with this throughout my childhood. As with many things over time, it got less and less usage until it was stored away for good.
For the first year or so, both Jeri and I used it to make orange juice. Eventually it just became easier to buy orange juice at the market and again, it was stored away for years.
