A wonderful video, from the New Mexico PBS series: Colores,. A slice of life from New Mexico and a very intimate and interesting interview with musician Antonia "Tonie" Apodaca. The musical talent that runs in my family has it's roots in New Mexico (it skipped over me). I can remember my father singing many old songs when I was a young boy. I wish he would have recorded them. The woman in the video sings in the same style as my father. Give it a listen.
